FLASHBACK. INT. FILM SCHOOL, EALING STUDIOS. DAY. YEAR 2010.

Two bright young things full of hopes and dreams arrive at film school on their first day. KATJA, 19, anxiously on the hunt for a friend approaches RUSHANE, 18, who sits alone.

KATJA

Hey, is this Mr Fisher's class?​​

​

Rushane fleetingly glances up to the frightening stranger.

​

RUSHANE

Yeah...​​​

​

Nervous, Rushane immediately looks the other way. Staring at the back of Rushane's head, Katja awkwardly lingers for a beat. Then, she shrugs and goes to sit elsewhere.

NARRATOR

And they never spoke again...​​​

Just kidding.

MONTAGE. FLASHES OF PIVOTAL MOMENTS.

Taking a photo together on their graduation day. ​​

Rushane, now an editor, is at her desk at Sony Pictures, whilst Katja, now a Television Producer is seen on set. 

​

It's Rushane's wedding day and Katja marvels at how beautiful the bride looks in her dress. ​

​

They celebrate as their latest short film is broadcast on Channel 4.  

​

Katja holds Rushane's daughter for the first time.

​

Throughout, Katja, a keen home cook, caters their lives.

​​

THE PRESENT DAY. 14 YEARS LATER... 

 

With some heavy-handed encouragement from their nearest and dearest (hello Tala) the duo are motivated by a desire to combine all their loves: friends, food and film.
